Living people
If you want a living person researched or included in the finished family history, please obtain their permission and keep a dated email or signed statement showing what they agreed to. Send me a copy before I research or include them. If permission is not available, we can start with a deceased ancestor and leave that living person out.

For each living person you would like me to research or include in the finished family history, please provide a dated email from them or a signed and dated paper statement. It should say: “I agree to Kith & Kin researching me and including relevant details about me in [client’s name]’s private family history.” Please show them our Data Privacy Policy first. You can forward their original email or send a clear photograph or scan of their statement. They can withdraw their permission by contacting ian@kandkancestry.com. No identity documents are needed.
