Looking for professional family history research? Our Scottish genealogy specialists offer detailed ancestry research Scotland‑wide to reveal your family’s story.

Stage 1 - Allow Kith & Kin to research your family history and provide you with an initial pedigree chart for your family, together with an initial family tree pdf detailing the information we have found in the process of pulling together your chart. We will also provide you with some suggestions on how to progress with your project and an estimation on how many research hours each suggestion would take. 

At the end of this stage you can stop, pause or continue the process. It is your project to plan. We will be with you whatever you decide to do. You will also have the option to donate to Kith & Kin if you would like to. There is no obligation to do so.

To get the ball rolling click the button and go through the checkout process - there is no charge at this stage and we will aim to send you your initial pedigree chart, family history report and suggestion list within 2 weeks. 

Stage 2 - if you want to continue your journey let us know where you would like us to focus our research efforts next and purchase the relevant number of research hours. We will aim to come back to you within 2 weeks with your updated report and we will communicate progress with you on a   regular basis. You may also decide that you want to focus on specific family members and/or events. We can help you by sourcing and sending you digital copies of individual records for just £1 each. Order as many or as few as you like. Just click on the button below for the Document Retrieval service.

Stage 3 - when you are happy with your family history report you have the option to have it printed and bound professionally in a paperback book that you can keep or give as a special and personal gift to you family members. For £125 you receive 3 copies of your family report and you will have the option to purchase more from £18 per copy.
