Also in association with Comann Eachdraidh Sgìre a’ Bhac (Back Historical Society) I have started work researching for the next phase of the Vatisker Diaries project. Vatisker is a village in the Back District of the Isle of Lewis. In 2023 the outcome of the first phase of this project was published. It recorded the history of the village and those who were born and lived in the village on or before the 1921 Scottish census. 

Phase 2 will evolve the history of the village to include the period up to the 1931 Scottish census.
